my boyfriend has this "Gift" as well, and well, it makes me feel more comfortable with my ability. we both have different gifts, but he can sense things, I can sense and see things, I have what is called "facial feeling" and it's when I can close my eyes and still feel if someone or something gets close to face. this happens with spirit too.
even since I could walk and talk, I could sense things (according my parents). my parents had taken the rest of my family and myself to an old jail, and I was about 4, I had said I didn't want to go through the double doors, sevrel times and turns out, there were no double doors no, there were double doors in the 1910's... I know, scary right? well, that only starts it, when I had a school project? I had to interview someone, and so I had done my project on a library in my town, and the library had been known to be haunted, so I focused on that aspect of the library. and while I was doing the interview? I had recorded it, when it was over I had gone home, and my brother wanted to listen to it, so he had turned it on, and the tape had nothing on it. I had tested to recorder ahead of time, and the tape player had stopped so I could turn it over to the other side to keep recording... no idea why, but I had to go back and record the I tire interview over, with less focus on the spirits and it worked.
just recently I had gotten more in tune with my spirituality. and I can now sense who is around someone, when there is someone trying to talk to me, only once have I read someone, and I had changed his life. I do think if I actually tried to gather good spirits to help their loved ones? I could actually change their lives. but oh well, I will just be considered the "weird girl" for now, haha :)
I have a sense of when I'm being followed, or when someone is being rude or mean, I used to have strong intuition, my boyfriends is amazing though. I have times of when I will be able to see things, it's normally at my boyfriend's house though. I will never forget this, I was just looking, and I had seen this woman that was in a white dress, and long blonde hair flowing behind her, she was floating, not walking, and I know it wasn't just me, my boyfriends future sister in law saw the same thing and she is not that In tune with things like that. I will also never forget what I had seen in my own house, I had gone to get my iPod charger from downstairs pretty late at night, and when I had gotten to the doors of the room that it was in, I had seen her, she had black hair, and was in a white dress, and turned to look at me, that was enough for me to run upstairs, sweating with my heart racing! no lie, it was pretty scary!
my grandfather had passed away a while ago, but I still feel him around me, and I find pennies all over the place (pennies from heaven) and just recently I had turned my fan off with the switch on the wall? and from a completely different cercet a lamp (it's a touch lamp) it turned on, and with that? I had seen a bring blueish/white light with a Pop, and it was on! no explanation for that, but it was my grandfathers wife's lamp she also passed a while but I don't feel her around me at all.
