rejection

hey kids :)
I have topic for you guys that might or might not be received well, oh well here we go

rejection

now, not everyone will like you, so to have two people who were saying this to me (at the same time) that you have no idea what you're talking about, let me back this up a little

so this kid had sent me his YouTube link of him doing cover of songs, ok that's cool I love supporting new singers, but this kid was tone deaf, if you know anything about me, and how long I have been singing (over 17 years) than I think you would at least half listen if I told you were tone deaf, mind you, this kid was new to youtube, probably never had a "hate"comment in his life, so ok, that's fine as well, but the hate I recieved back from his "friend" and him? was astonishing, all I did was suggest the kid do was not sing and do something else on YouTube (many more things on YouTube to do) and called him tone deaf,

I'm over critical about singers, you should hear me when American idol comes on TV... I yell at the TV and boo if the person can't sing, being tone deaf is not a bad thing guys, It just means you hear the wrong notes in your head when they are played in a rhyme or melody in a song, not a bad thing people just don't sing, it's alright, I am not tone deaf (don't mean I'm better than anyone, just trying to state facts guys) , I had a class were we had a project to write out a common song on blank sheet music (I don't use sheet music at all, but because I listen to the notes being played, I'm all autatory at that point) and I did a great job the teacher said I wrote all the correct notes down so that means I'm hearing the correct notes in my head, which in turn means I am not tone deaf... I have been singing in choirs since I was 6, and since I reached college? the professors love my voice, (I'm a saprano 1) so I know what it takes to get hit notes, I think 17 years of training my voice to sing, is incredible, specially since I never used sheet music to sing off of, since I hear everything perfectly fine, I get solos, i get a lot of things with singing, and to say "since you have been singing you know there is room for improvement" yes and no, if there is progress, than yes there is, but not when every song is the same, hiccop-y mess you call a melody, sorry, I know what I'm talking about, either listen or don't, if you don't? you will be told by many people the same thing in
the future, or you will have a lot of people lie to you to make you feel better, which is not right, if you can't sing, and you think you can? sing I front of strangers, they will tell you if your good or not, I sing in front of many people my boyfriend's brother wants to play his guitar for me to sing along with it at coffee shoppes! I mean either listen to me? or not, either way? I'm still going to hold my head high and sing my heart out whenever I get the chance, as for you guys, if you don't think singing will be a good fit for you? don't sing, if you haven't heard people think your very good, or very talents red and they truly sound sincer about it? chances are you are a good singer :) if you don't mind people commenting on stuff that you post, and it being constructive criticism like you obviously wanted, than the industry of YouTube or singing is not for you, sorry, but it isn't, rejection is hard, but hey! at least you hear the truth, I always tell the truth, if I find something funny, than I will laugh, if I find something good I will listen to it all the time, rejection is a good thing!!!!!
it makes you better at your craft, it you were told you were good everything? you wouldn't try anymore, but if someone came up to you and said "why not try something else" you would do it, and find out that the thing you were doing was not for you, and maybe even love the thing that was suggested

till next time
